It has come to the notice of the management and implementing authorities of Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) that certain fraudulent individuals, agencies, and unauthorized websites are falsely claiming to represent PMKVY, NSDC, or MSDE.

These unauthorized entities have been misleading aspiring candidates, training partners, and institutions by offering fake job placements, guaranteed franchise approvals, or demanding money for training enrollments and certification.

Common Fraudulent Practices to Watch Out For

• Fake Websites & Portals: Fraudsters create lookalike domain names and spoofed portals mimicking official government or project sites to collect personal and financial information. Always verify you are visiting authorized domains like pmkvyproject.org or official portals.
• Unauthorized Fee Demands: Demanding cash, UPI payments, or bank transfers under the pretext of "security deposits," "kit fees," "examination fees," or "job placement confirmation."
• Bogus Offer Letters: Issuing fake appointment letters, training partner accreditation certificates, or franchise allocations bearing forged government seals or signatures.
• Unsolicited Communications: Receiving phone calls, SMS messages, or WhatsApp texts from individuals claiming to be government officials offering direct cash grants or guaranteed jobs for payment.

Safety Guidelines for Candidates & Partners

• Never Pay Fees: Do not pay money to anyone claiming they can secure admission, training targets, or job placements under PMKVY.
• Verify Training Centres: Enrol only at authorized Training Centres (TC) or Skill Hubs listed on our official directory. You can cross-verify empanelled partners via our Training Partner List.
• Protect Personal Data: Do not share sensitive documents (such as bank details, or identification papers) with unverified callers, social media accounts, or unauthenticated apps.
• Official Channels Only: All official communications regarding notices, guidelines, and RFP applications are published exclusively through authorized web channels.

Reporting Fraud and Grievance Redressal

If you encounter any suspicious activity, fraudulent phone calls, fake websites, or individuals demanding money in the name of PMKVY, please report them immediately to our official grievance cell or local law enforcement authorities:
